Three championship courses
Costa Navarino sits in the unspoiled Messinia region of the southwest Peloponnese, fifty minutes from Kalamata International Airport. Three of its celebrated layouts make up the competition — each one inside Greece's top ten.
The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino
Set along the Ionian Sea and surrounded by the Messinian landscape, the Westin's rooms and suites all open onto a private balcony or terrace, many looking out across the water, the pools and the gardens.
Beyond the room there is the 1km Dunes Beach, the 4,000m² Anazoe Spa and a choice of Greek, Mediterranean and international dining — the perfect setting to unwind between rounds.

Five days, day by day
Arrival & welcome dinner
Check in at the Westin, collect your pairs pack at registration, then join the field for the welcome dinner and a run-through of the week from the events team.
Round one — International Olympic Academy
The competition opens on the resort's newest championship layout. Buggies and range balls included; player's lounge open through the afternoon with drinks.
Round two — The Dunes Course
Langer's coastal design, and the round where most leaderboards move. On-course competitions running alongside the main pairs Stableford.
Round three & gala dinner
The final round on the Bay Course, then the 3-course gala dinner at Flame with the overall and daily prize presentations.

Breakfast and check out. Extra nights either side of the event can be added to your package on request.

Whether this is your first Amateur Golf Events pairs competition or you've played the series before, the events team is on hand with everything you need to know.
Event & travel questions
Yes — an official WHS or iGolf handicap is required to win the overall and daily 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
Non-WHS handicaps can still compete in the tournament; if you place for a prize, an alternative prize will be awarded.
Prizes are awarded to the top three pairs overall, based on the best combined scores across all three days of competition.
There are also daily prizes for the top-scoring pair each day, alongside a selection of on-course competitions throughout the event.
A 2-person Best Ball (also known as Fourball) — each player plays their own ball throughout the round, and on each hole the higher points count as the team score. The events team is on hand throughout to assist with scoring and the live scoring app.
All pairs events are played with an 85% handicap allowance, as per the World Handicap System for doubles and pairs competitions.
Unfortunately there are no non-golfer packages available for this event.
Yes — buggies are included for all three competitive rounds, along with range balls.
There are a few options. Kalamata is just under an hour from the resort, Araxos around two hours forty-five, and Athens around three and a half hours.
Flights and airport transfers are not included in the event package. The team can recommend the best flights for your circumstances and add transfers to your booking on request.
Yes — upgraded rooms are available at an additional cost.
Yes. Competitive rates are available for shoulder nights either side of the event — note which additional nights you would like when completing the enquiry form.
Places are held with a deposit at the point of booking, with the balance due before travel. The events team will confirm the schedule when your pair is registered.
