Get ready for the 2026 Amateur Golf Events series hosted across some of the UK’s top-ranked courses. Brought to you by the team behind Golfbreaks and Mashie Members Club, these one-day pairs events offer an unforgettable experience for amateur golfers at some outstanding venues.

 

Each event includes a welcome gift, fun on-course competitions to be won, and a halfway refreshment stop. The winning pair from each event secures their place at our prestigious Finals Day, held at a leading UK course with an unforgettable prize awaiting the champions of the series.

Golf Course Information

Cleeve Hill is the setting for a magnificent golf course, commanding stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The golf course is open to the general public and aimed at players of all abilities. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, encompassing the highest point of the Cotswolds, the course is commonly referred to as an inland links due to the constant wind, tight lies and undulating fairways. The course represents a good test of golf for all, from the low handicapper to the complete beginner. The course is well respected amongst local golfers and a favourite for many as well.

How do I enter an event?

You can enter any of our open amateur golf events online at www.amateurgolf.events just select the
event you’d like to enter, number of golfers and pick your tee time. If you would rather speak to one of our experts then please call 01285 720111 or email info@amateurgolf.events

Can I enter the event as a solo golfer?

Yes, we accept solo entrants to our open amateur golf events and will try to pair you up with other solo entrants. All you need to do is pick the tee time you want and book in as usual just selecting one and we'll do the rest.

Who can play in the Amateur Golf Events?

Our events are open to all golfers, we welcome all combinations of pairs including male, female and
mixed, as well as solo golfers.

Can juniors play?

Golfers between the age of 14-18 can enter as long as they are partnered with an adult golfer (18+).

Can I compete for prizes if I have a iGolf handicap?

Yes, if you have an iGolf handicap you will be on the main leaderboard

What is the event format?

Pairs Betterball Stableford 85% WHS Handicap allowance.
